STARTING IN 1946 with seven artists, 2019 sees us with 200+ active members working in a variety of media and disciplines, using traditional and contemporary styles, some trained professionals, some self-taught, ages ranging across the full spectrum.
All with one thing in common - a passion for art.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Members are encouraged and inspired in a variety of ways to get creative. We have two exhibitions annually - participating in the Exmouth Festival during the May Bank Holiday week and holding our major Autumn show at the stunning Ocean venue on Exmouth seafront.
We meet regularly for demonstrations, talks by guest speakers, competitions and weekly for practice sessions and workshops.
WHEN AND WHERE DO WE MEET?
1st & 3rd Tuesday evening of most months 7pm-9pm for demonstrations, competitions, talks.
Most Thursdays weekly 9:30am-12:30pm and 1pm-4pm for practice sessions and workshops.
Meetings are held at the Sea Cadets Hall on Camperdown Terrace adjacent to the Exe Estuary making it a perfect location for some plein air working and workshops usually at the Manor Hotel.
WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES DO WE ENJOY?
Our Patrons Nigel and Heleen Lyndsay-Fynn host a Summer Reception in the grounds of their glorious home Lee Ford.
We celebrate the festive season with a Christmas Party at the Manor Hotel.
We organise trips to art events such as the RWA Open Exhibition in Bristol.
We have established links in the community working with for example local schools, Exmouth Rotary Kite Festival and Exmouth in Bloom and starting this month we will be offering art sessions at the Infusion Cafe.
